if you are handy (or know someone who is) something like this could be easily sized to fit and painted any number of colors - lowe's sells paint samples at $3 each to finish them up. Something Similar to the Itso Bin? Good Questions |

nursery's are designed for parents... not babies so don't stress out and don't forget that when someone comes into the nursery they are not looking at your lights or rug but that cute little bundle in the crib. so don't stress. the most important element the baby cares about is a quality mattress so they are safe and comfy and that they get clean diapers and fed :) Seeking Affordable Nursery Ideas Good Questions |

a colleague of mine does a preemie clothing drive annually and donates the clothes to area nicu for parents.... no one really plans for preemies when buying baby stuff... so maybe sending her some preemie outfits would be helpful. Helping From Afar with Preemie Triplets Good Questions |

I have one from crate and barrel i picked up a few years ago that is similar to the OXO one but smaller. I don't mine the longer strands and usually mince them afterwards. i like it takes up almost no space in my tool drawer and is super fast and easy to use... same with clean up.
