I love this topic. The best scores I've gotten are my expandable Danish Modern slat wood bench (not sure who it is by) for $14, a Heywood-Wakefield side table for $2.98, two huge very nicely framed vintage airbrushed florals from 1939 for $10, a Hermes scarf for 69 cents and probably lots more I can't think of right now. I've also passed up some good stuff too but I don't fret about it anymore. You Paid WHAT for That? Best Secondhand Finds Ever |

I have had two corgis and man, they shed!! Try the furminator brush. It works wonders. Apartment Therapy Chicago | Good Questions: Carpet to Stand Up to Corgis?#comments |

I worked for the retailer that is mentioned in the post and once had to take a circular saw to a $1400 coffee table because the top was warped (so it would be completely destroyed and nobody would dumpster dive it out). Even though I knew that it was unsellable in the condition it was in, it still made me a little nauseous. Aside from that coffee table, our store always donated the dimed out items to charity. It always amazed me at the high-dollar items they'd mark down to 10 cents. Apartment Therapy San Francisco | Store Policies: What's Your Take? |

Its a recycled idea. Anthro had an almost exact version of this display as one of the window display options exactly two years ago. Apartment Therapy San Francisco | Mason Jar Pendant Lamps |
