Hi @makeupchik- I agree! It's a great color that seems to go with a lot of different colors! @MaddyT- I found it at World Market! :) Allie's "Contrasting Neutrals" Room Room for Color Contest |

Thanks @realsupportva, @500 Square, @Nancy33Cats and @Tracy333! @Cooper_black- the couches were actually given to us, so I'm not sure where they're from. I noticed some similar ones at Pottery Barn though... http://www.potterybarn.com/shop/furniture-upholstery/sofas/turner-sofas/ Hope this helps! Thanks for your comments! @Interiors by Kenz- The grey is Cement Grey from Martha Stewart. It really depends on the time of day as to the shade it appears to be. In person, it actually has more of a warm undertone... you can pick up hints of brown... again, the time of day makes a difference as well. I'm so jealous you made your map! Great idea! I'm 31 and I've never lived anywhere longer than 5 years (due to my dads' job growing up, then college, job change and getting married). I've gotten used to being the new person in a place, and am an introvert whose had to get out of my comfort zone to really put myself out there to make friends. It does take time! For me, one of the most helpful things is getting involved in a local church- which may be off-putting to some- but if you find a great church; you'll find people who truly care about you and who will listen and want to help you feel connected. I always feel that's my most solid base of friends! We just moved last year to a new place and I found myself in and out of the hospital for 2 weeks due to complications with a pregnancy in which we lost our baby- there were so many people who made meals, brought flowers, visited and showed how much they cared. A good church is a great place to start when moving to a new place! Also, allow yourself to be patient with people and to continue to be open with others even when it doesn't feel comfortable... it will pay off in the end! Even one good friend will be worth the effort! Finding Friendship at Every Stage of Your Life |

This is great because I'm a freelance writer and photographer and all my work is done at home! I loved the comment about time to play with eyeshadow! There are so many times I feel like I get so easily swept up in a fleeting thought like, "I wonder what my desk would look like if I put it on this office wall" and then I spend an hour trying out the new layout. I love having the freedom to run my day how I want, but at the same time, it can be hard to force myself to focus on the task at hand! Thanks for sharing your tips- they are super helpful! Love this! My husband and I just took a 12 hour road trip from Kansas City to his families' lake house in Tennessee. We packed our lunch for our on-the-road picnic! Aside from great music and enjoying the rolling scenery, we each got a chance to sit back and read (while the other one drove, of course!). And I'm talking the old fashioned books with paper and hard covers... a great way to unwind along the trip, unplug and get back to the basics. Packing Checklist for a Perfect Road Trip |
