Thank you all for your comments. We have decided to stage it as an office and took the bed down completely. Our agent informs prospective buyers of the pass through before they see it but it has still been a problem for pretty much everyone. It seems like buyers these days want everything to be perfect while we liked the character of the 100 year old home!
