We are currently using the sink on top of the toilet tank and I have reservations and commendations for it. Solved a huge space issue for us, but it's plastic and thus feels chintzy. Also, it's ineffectual for washing your face before bed or in the morning! Too tiny and splashing water out of the sink is a problem. For our next tiny bathroom space we are using an IKEA sink I didn't see mentioned here called the Ann(e). It's tiny, rounded. Large enough to be functional. I do tend to like more squared off sinks.
