@fooltheworld - I wish it WERE expected / a given, but sadly the last apartment I moved into was utterly filthy from top to bottom - essentially, it had not been cleaned at all after the previous tenant moved out. Absolutely, yes. I have always planned to do this when I get my first house. The color would depend on the rest of the houses in the neighborhood - I would want it to coordinate.
