You have a lovely, lovely home and an absolutely adorable baby - congratulations. The handrail(?) caught my eye outside the front of your house and I didn't think it looked right - maybe if it was painted or even removed. Your little one may enjoy swinging on it when he/she is older : )

Love all your pictures - got a real feel of a tiny slice of what you experienced. Drink LOTS of water before, during and after flying to stave off jet-lag.

I totally relate to MUFFINGIRL, err, actually I think I relate to everyone else as well. It's just that paperwork brings with it a certain buried anxiety, wheras junk sorting is easily ignored and mildly annoying.

This post came at a good time and today, yes TODAY, I am going to tackle my really not so enormous paperwork job and I'm going to feel really good by the end of the day. Ye Ha!

Clevvvvvvvvvver - I really like the picnic bench that has been painted with blackboard paint, with the pot of chalks ready to use. EVERY pub garden should have them.

There are elements of this house that I love, but for some reason I find this home quite oppressive - is it because there is just too much turquoise; not enough light; is it too cold? Possibly a mixture of these elements. I think you need some hot-hued flowering plants, to inject some life, warmth and pings of excitement here and there.

Pump soaps always remind me of being in public toilets. Bar soap has more character. Flowers are lovely, but why not get a flowering plant which will be a lot cheaper in the long run. A bowl of tangerines or fruit always looks fresh and inviting. Thank you for this post, it has inspired me to buy some geraniums this weekend and put them in a pot outside my front-door : )

We have just moved, actually it was about 6 months ago : ), and my bed is surrounded by unopened boxes with piles of clothes on them, I discovered that the room felt a lot calmer and less chaotic when I actually made the bed. Also, I make the bed as soon as I get out of it, as I find it really wakes me up and gets my blood pumping.
