When my boyfriend and I moved in together, I was coming from a dishwasher-free apartment while he came from a dishwasher-reliant one and the transition was painful. The greatest thing I have ever purchased for my home (or my sanity?) was one of those sponge-wand things - you fill the handle with soap, and can quickly wash dishes without even filling the sink. It made washing dishes much faster, and really was the only way I could get him to clean the kitchen after I cooked a meal. I recommend it to anyone who is battling dishwasher withdrawal!

It looks like it would make a great dining area with a round table and four chairs. Then, purchase an island on castors for the kitchen to go against the wall where the table is currently, which you can pull out closer to the sink/stove for more work space if you need it.

AT - perhaps you can take the time to fix the "page lock" you seem to have on this interview. i feel so sorry for all of the negative commenters; the fact that they had to pore over every sentence and watch every video on the novogratz interview without the option to just click "back" if they weren't interested/didn't like them is appalling!

i like these guys - their stuff is so unexpected and fun, and they seem like very nice people who have become successful doing what they love. do i sense some jealousy in a few of these posts...? don't hate, redecorate!
