Can you tell me how the curtains are working out as closet doors? I need a solution for my own outdated sliding doors ... The bedroom, btw, is gorgeous! Love it!

Great digs! Can you please tell me where your art work is from in the first two photos? (More specific than Etsy would be appreciated!) Thanks for sharing!

Hey All!
This is my first cure. I'm not confident I can keep the commitment but will try ... I am planning on tackling my basement, which is a complete disaster zone. The plan is to make it so we can use it as an extra family space--playroom and music room. We have ripped out part of the carpeting and need to get some new flooring. The question is WHAT?!?! Everything seems to have its own issue ... Also, I really really really need to get rid of a lot of books that are sitting in boxes down there. I find it soooo hard to get rid of books, but they really feel like they are dragging us all down. I was inspired to read about the tale of Maxwell's aunt and her books. I also feel motivated to let go of some books whenever I visit my father who has decades and decades worth of musty dusty books. You'd think a bunch of books would feel inspiring but they really feel more depressing than anything else.
I live in Towson. I have kids and a dog and a husband.
Okay, so I'm in!

Seems weird to me that there isn't a pattern in pink to match all the nearly inevitable pink in a little girl's room. Of course pink is avoidable if you have money for the cool modern stuff or you have the time to create something original. But if decorating your daughter's room isn't at the top of your list, the path of least resistance is pink and pastel. Why am I justifying pink here?! The point is, aren't these people missing a huge market by not including a kid friendly pink pattern? I would buy something to cover our ancient & battered IKEA kids table, but none of these will work in the pink/turquoise girlie confection that is my five year old daughter's room.

I had these same tiles in my last house. Magic Eraser cleaned them right up. Takes a few, though, to cover the whole floor.

Does anyone have any experience with the actual sink and faucet? I've been eyeing it for awhile, contemplating it for one of the 5 X 8 bathroom remodels I'm about to embark on.
