Wait, it's just a piece of wood? Forget that.

I was super pumped when I thought it was a speaker dock - I have a Sony dock that uses my ipod as an alarm, but the display is insanely bright.

This is not a "things I would grab in a fire" blog as much as it is another "look at the cool things I own" blog.

In a fire, I'd be grabbing my wife and our two dogs and getting the hell out. Sorry, grandfather's antique cigar box full of Polaroids.

Not exactly the same, but the other day I bought some table clothes from Target that was pretty similar (I intend to make them into drapes).

I thought the famous "first hamburger" at Louis' Lunch in Connecticut is strictly without cheese and served on toasted bread?

I have a curved rod like HeyNowTex and missmilla describe (not like the one pictured). I love it and would never go back to a straight bar.

Don't get me started on "vegetarians" that eat fish, annaqua....ha

I recently came into a no-strings-attached $270 gift card at Williams-Sonoma and I'm thinking of blowing it on a La Creuset dutch oven.

I'm wondering if they're really worth the price. Are they really that much better than the alternative cast iron dutch ovens?

I'd warn against the Le Creuset outlet. They're not that much cheaper, and the quality is noticeably inferior.

If you're looking for a cheaper alternative, I'd second the Lodge suggestion (though still $100).
