Thank you for this! Took me just a few hours on Saturday. And those jars were only $5 at Target (they're actually cookie jars, but the lids screw on tightly).

I was super pumped when I thought it was a speaker dock - I have a Sony dock that uses my ipod as an alarm, but the display is insanely bright.

This is not a "things I would grab in a fire" blog as much as it is another "look at the cool things I own" blog.

In a fire, I'd be grabbing my wife and our two dogs and getting the hell out. Sorry, grandfather's antique cigar box full of Polaroids.

Not exactly the same, but the other day I bought some table clothes from Target that was pretty similar (I intend to make them into drapes).

I have a curved rod like HeyNowTex and missmilla describe (not like the one pictured). I love it and would never go back to a straight bar.

I recently came into a no-strings-attached $270 gift card at Williams-Sonoma and I'm thinking of blowing it on a La Creuset dutch oven.

I'm wondering if they're really worth the price. Are they really that much better than the alternative cast iron dutch ovens?
