After cleaning and spinning my greens (kale, red leaf lettuce, spinach), I put them in gallon plastic zip bags and add a paper towel or two. If the paper towel becomes too wet, I change it out. I use the wet paper towels later for cleanup tasks. The paper towel absorbs excess moisture and keeps greens fresh and crisp in the bag for a week with no browning or wilting! It's a pizza theme... I made multigrain pizza (dough from Whole Foods) with basil pesto, grape tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, minced garlic and fresh basil. The rest of my eating involves slicing and dicing fresh produce, red leaf lettuce/cashew/honey/bleu d'auverge (sp) cheese/dried cranberries, and Blendtec palooza with green tea frappucinos, green drinks and fruit smoothies - all blended drinks include almond milk. I'd be all over everything except the chicken casserole... chicken, lentils and veggies? healthy. Casserole? Me thinks not. Cream, sauces, binders compromise the concept of healthy there... Chalk board walls and cupboards. I made a chalkboard wall piece. Dust gets everywhere, even with dustless chalk. Where do you put the eraser so it doesn't dust all over? There is no good place for an eraser? Paper towels as an eraser? Not eco-friendly. Walls? chalk dust all over the floor. Not good, especially if you walk around barefoot or have pets who lick things. OOH fun to draw on? Perhaps, but don't accidentally bump one of these walls or cupboards, or you'll get chalk on your clothes. Not fun to wash out. What's Your Design Pet Peeve? |
