I agree with one of the above comments, I don't think advertisers (at least many of them, depends on the product, I suppose) would like this article. Companies & businesses want us to consume & use/buy their product. Our country is built on consumerism. So there's half the problem right there. Most of us have livelihoods that rely on this consumption mentality. Fighting the Feeling of "Should" |

For me, it's all about practice, practice, practice. Seeing the person through the lens in a totally different way. I find it hardest to photograph my family because I think I know what they look like already. Seeing them in a fresh new way, is the challenge... My fave are the farmer's market baskets & the radish photo. Who knew you could make a wreath out of radishes?! Problem is though, it's so pretty & it looks like it would take some work to put together, but I don't imagine it would last more than two days, no? Inspired By: The Farmers Market |
