I'm not big on bright colors usually, but I instantly thought to myself this looks like a loving and fun house with loving positive people that live there. Wonderful, just wonderful. :) Melyssa & Ted's Colorful Carriage House House Tour |

I am of the belief that it depends on the dog. I have a small cocker spaniel that is allowed on the bed and on the sofa and chairs, any place I can lay or sit, he is welcome next to me. No dogs allowed at the tables or counters of course, due to I prefer my dog hair on the floor not in my food. I use to have a larger dog that was just to big to allow on the bed, she had a floor on the bed and stayed there, or on the tile in the bathroom (she loved it). I am allergic to cats, but did pet sit my mom's cat for a month not to long ago and was very disgusted to learn he was allowed anywhere, he quickly learned I was not going to allow paws on my table and counter tops. (of course I did not spank, I am of the mind a firm NO! works just fine.) Pets On Furniture Desire To Inspire |

Garlic as a toxin to dogs is in debate (however, quit toxic for cats). Garlic in small amounts can help combat fleas and worms. At a high dosage it can/may cause blood cell issues/disease in certain breeds. Vets have been unable to determine what dosage exactly results in the blood cell issues. Most of your dog's food and treats have a small dosage of garlic in them which most vets say is harmless in such a small amount. 5 Other Things Your Dog Shouldn't Eat…and Why Real Simple |

Okay call me crazy (and this is coming from a younger woman) but I find that I much rather my partner to use a manual razor or even a straight edge razor. Growing up even as a girl I use to sit on the edge of the tub and watch my grandfather shave with a straight edge razor. He would lather his face with the brush and then go to town, it was so masculine to me. LOL I would be so quiet I would hold my breath for fear I would make a noise and he would cut himself. Now that I am older and have had 2-3 boyfriends (and an ex-fiance) I still prefer the shave of a manual or straight edge razor when I touch my partner's face. I did visit Whole Foods today looking for a SLS and Paraben Free Shampoo (as I have noticed a decrease in the health of my hair and I am trying to change my lifestyle to natural products as possible). I took a look at the Kiss My Face, Aubrey, and Burts Bees, but ultimately went with another SLS and Paraben Free brand I found there called Avalon Organics. I got the Nourishing Lavender Shampoo and the Strengthening Peppermint Conditioner. Also I am going to try to reduce my washings to 3 times a week (hard to go lower when I work with animals and get rather dirty). I will see how it goes and report back after using. If anyone else has tried this brand please let me know how you liked (or disliked) it. Four SLS and Paraben Free Shampoos |

Television. Actually there is no TV in the whole house, I find television to be useless. I try to limit working or computers in the bedroom, but sometimes studying is just more comfy while in bed, especially during late night study sessions before tests. What Isn't Allowed In Your Bedroom? |

I would just like the say I am of Native American decent, but I still do not believe that has anything to do with the fact that I like dreamcatchers. My mother bought me one for my eighteenth birthday at a pow wow she had attended. I don't see my dreamcatcher as "decor" it hangs over my bed and whether spiritual or psychological, it helps me sleep a little better each night even after having it for almost 10 years. I can't believe people cannot even respect others choice and what they want to hang over their beds....childish. Autumnal Decor: Dreamcatchers (Yes, Dreamcatchers) |

I live alone and have lived alone off and on for about 10 years. I love it. I do what I want and go where I want and I save money when I want. I am lonely at times (but since my recently breakup with an ex) I am perfectly happy spending my off days sitting around and reading a book or running errands. I have a friend that visits me every Sunday (cause we are both off work that day) and if I want to go anywhere I can without asking or worrying about anyone else. BUT....at the beginning of next year (actually moving 3 days after christmas) I will be moving out of state to a new college (28 a starting college I must be lame lol) and will be staying with relatives for the first semester. That will be something I will have to deal with or get use too. I don't like living with relatives in particularly because they drive me nuts, worse then having roommates. I will miss my "freedom." :/ Why Do So Many Americans Live Alone? The New Yorker |

Well my style is more minimalism and modernism with touches of color. My ex's style was dark-as in black everything (some dark blues) and reds (I hate red). I tried to covert to his style and colors....however after we broke up I realized his love of black was also his mood - dark and mean. (not saying black is mean, I actually love black & white decor). I brightened up my place since the break up and feel so much better :) Would You Date Someone if You Really Dislike Their Style? |

I am a dog groomer (and uni. student lol) and I own 1 dog (babysitting mom's cat for a month while she moves). I am allergic to the cat, he is long hair himalayan, but do not seem to be allergic to the cat at work who is short haired. I have HORRIBLE allergies. The key is finding which breed of dog is less likely to cause allergy issues for your bf. Like me, he might not be allergic to the hair itself, but to the pet dander. And each dog (and cat) has different dander. For example, I am allergic to golden retriever dander but not spaniel breeds (I have a spaniel). Also there are some breeds that produce less hair and/or less dander. German Pinchers, for example, are very low shedding dogs but kinda hard to find one. Labradoodles, while not an actual registered breed are good dogs for allergy surfers that love dogs. Just do your research on the breeds and you should be able to find one that would work. (also if you are allergic to an animal, do not touch her face after petting them...that is the number one cause of allergic eye reactions.) Can you have a pet if you’re allergic? Melbourne |
