I have a tale - I bought a new case from J. Crew and foolishly thought it served more than just a decorative purpose. One day later, I was looking at my phone when my dog pulled the leash really hard. My phone flew out of my hand and went splat on the ground. The photo in this article basically looks like what happened to my phone. I went to Apple and got a new phone for $53 because I have Apple Care +. Without it, it would have been $600 for a new phone.
