The cottage is called 'Y Bwthyn Bach' (Little Cottage). It was a gift from the people of Wales in 1932 to the queen and her sister Princess Margaret. When I was a little girl (I am Welsh and live in Wales) I was absolutely entranced by it. My parents used to take me to a hotel on the coast from time to time and and there was a series of old black and white photographs of the cottage and a small written description about it hanging on a wall. I used to gaze at the photos for hours and dream about playing in a little house like that. I have always wondered what happened to it and am so glad it has been renovated for future generations to play with. Such lovely memories of fairytale daydreams.
