The reason for this is resolution. Rounding corners to make them look bubbly was a way of hiding (or rounding off) the visible pixels. This is no longer the case so we can have thin bezels or no bezels at all on design elements. The World Is Flat: The Flat Design Trend |

I've heard that it helps to rotate everything to the right. So in the case the sofa wouild be where the tv is, the tv would be near the stairs (may need a media solution from ikea) and the chair would in affect be in open space. I can't tell you how pleased I am to see Ubuntu mentioned on a website *so* far removed from the nerdy roots of Linux. Actually a lot of these great apps were on Linux loooong before they made it on to Windows or Mac. I know I know I'm boring you but as a nerd who also loves design, this pleases me immensely... nah @Island_monkey, ericastle is right, what he means is that clicking the video on the home page should play it on the home page not take you to another page to have to the same action again.
