I always find it odd when a large monitor is placed in front of a window. It doesn't make sense to me. First, the light from the window (plus monitor) straining the eyes. Second, there's an enormous monitor blocking the view. So, my preference is to always move it off to the side of the window or have the window sit perpendicular to my desk arrangement.
