When my daughter's teacher asked us to practice her math facts (ex: sets of numbers that add up to a number) we found Hungry Fish.

In Hungry Fish the fish swims around with the same number on it for all of a level. Bubbles float around on the screen and you have to push the bubbles together to add up (or subtract) to the number on the fish. The fish eats the "right" bubbles and grows, or shrinks in some modes if you take too long.

You can set the difficulty, and purchase the subtraction or negative number modules. Addition is free. My 4 year old enjoys the easier levels, while my 7 year old likes the harder ones. The longer the kids play, the more points they get, and they get to customize their fish with new features (different types of fins, colors, eyes, etc), but they have to keep playing to add to the ways they can change their fish. They also can name their fish and each have their own game.

I've had it on my phone for four months, and my kids still enjoy playing it.
Hungry Fish. :)
