I like it! Sure, it's not practical, but that is up to the resident. My kitchen is exactly the same size, except I have open shelves and a microwave above the stove. I love the curtains *below* the sink, but it kind of bothers me that the top one don't fully cover the left cabinet. If I weren't moving soon, I'd remove my bottom cabinets and do the curtains (one cabinet door doesn't close all the way anyways... was like that when I moved in). Love the color scheme too. You are giving me ideas for my next place!!

Beautiful. I used to collect Breyer horses and my mom always had them arranged on a long, skinny shelf above my bed. I kind of want to collect them again hehe :) I used to live in Five Points, my beau and I always went to Sputniks (mmm cuban sandwiches!) and I can't NOT go in Fancy Tiger when we go to that area... I love love love the fabric selection there! Definitely a great store to check out if you're in the area

I'm shy, AND I'm deaf! I don't usually say "Hello" first, but if someone says hello to me and I see it, I will say "Hello" back. If someone waves at me, I wave back. Sometimes I wave first, but I don't usually say "Hello." I'm just shy, and if someone greets me first then tries to engage me in conversation, then I will stay and talk to them. I just can't make the first move myself, especially when I am the new kid on the block.

Strawberry Park Hot Springs in Steamboat Springs, CO! I went at night with my bf and friends, it was -18F but man! The springs were HEAVENLY! Also, in the winter, it's 4X4 only to get there, I thought I would need a big truck or something, but it's just a snowy road all the way there. I made it fine in my WRX w/ AWD. Bring a flashlight if you go at night! Clothes are also optional at night, but required during the day.

Also, Glenwood Springs Hot Spring, in Glenwood Springs, CO... HUGE hot springs pool, massive, I've never swam in it but have driven by many times.

I wish I would have gone to Johnson's Shut Ins when I lived in STL! I've been to the Offsets many times. It used to be a mine, and it got flooded and now it's a great cliff jumping place.

BEAUTIFUL HOME! This is almost EXACTLY how I want mine to look... get out of my head!! My mother does the same thing; something old, something new... and I've grown to love that. I can't wait to get settled down and do the same thing. Thank you for showing your home.

Cute pups too!! Love the name Penelope!

I have to use an ugly metal crate. My husky is HUGE. And yes, he loves that stupid thing. He goes in and chills all day when I leave the door open. I've always loved how some crates can serve as a side table or a coffee table, but gosh darn it, it's not doable with my behemoth of a dog. That'd be one huge bulky coffee table!

So beautiful. I love this place. It's on Crown land though... I really hope it doesn't get torn down because of that!

Here's my picture of an old outhouse! I hope the link works:

This outhouse had two seats; a lower one for children, and a higher one for the adults.

And not far from this outhouse was this cabin:

I found these gems at the Wild Irishman Mine past the ghost town of Saints John in Colorado. Yes, Saints. Not Saint. I'm amazed at how these buildings still stand despite years and years of long winters. You need 4x4 to get up there, but oh my gosh. The views! This is the view!

I love clear coffee tables- they really do make a room bigger. My mother bought hers off overstock for $100. The ends of the table (legs I guess? It's like this one) curve up after they hit the floor. Think of the ends of that table curving to the outside like an upside down question mark. She likes to keep magazines in there.

When I settle down in a more permanent home, I am getting that couch. No question about it. I want a modern gray couch. NOW.

@Sunsets and swimming pools, only thing IKEA I noticed was the coffee table- only because I have the same one. :) However, it's been painted or covered or what have you... so beautiful. I want to do something similar to mine. That was the only Ikea thing I noticed; if there are any others, it probably goes with the rooms so well that you don't even notice.

This is a beautiful home. I love the little random things like the pink curtains (pink!!!! I'd never have considered it, but they look fabulous in the room with the other touches of pink). I also love that green door in the guest house! I'd live in that guest house, I love the whole look of it! I'm also partial to smaller homes :) Love that kitchen in the guest house too, it looks so warm and inviting.

I also like the new kitchen in the main home- it looks like it's perfect for when they need to do cooking or whatever for their gatherings, charity dinners, etc.... I know that my friend will never be able to do huge dinners in his 1950s kitchen, with his 1950s appliances!

Beautiful home, thanks for sharing!

Love it! I live in a studio about the same size (I think mine is 450sq ft) and this place looks so much bigger than mine. I wish I could knock down my kitchen wall to open the place up, but I'm renting... Probably can't do that. Ha! At my old house (also rented), the bathroom was similar to this one- shower floor was the same as the rest of the bathroom. I hated it!! Maybe it was because that house was always settling, but the water always went all over the bathroom and would pool up in random spots. Always had to wipe the floor after every shower!

I love Audrie's room! I wish my room looked like that when I grew up at my parents' house. Unfortunately the house came with ugly wallpaper in my room, it was like... pea soup green with cream flowers... the house was built by a company called Flowers, so they had flower wallpaper all over. Bleh. I also love that family portrait in the master bedroom!

Nursery is awesome- great gender neutral colors and love the stripes!

I just love this house overall!

I like the house! It's funky, and I like funky :) I could never do pink for my bedroom though- even though yours looks fantastic. I'd probably fight and fight against it, until we settled on something like light teal or whatever! Love the orange barber chair too!

LOVE this house. Reminds me so much of my mother's house. Hers is also cozy, and she has the most random stuff but somehow makes everything work together! Super, super cozy, both yours and my mother's. I'd love to have a similar home, but I'm afraid that I won't be able to make it look as good!

Those lights and the garden are definitely something that I could make... love the sink! I've been to public restrooms that had similar sinks, and as long as the faucets didn't shoot water out with great pressure, water didn't splash around everywhere.

I like the after, but I'd paint the frame white, and remove the blue dangle things on the sides... but keep the pictures in the middle. That's just me though!
