My biggest problem was all the little random doodads throwing off my organizational scheme. It was easy to put together a box of kitchenwares, a box of plates, a box of cups, a box of clothing, etc. but where the heck do you put all the random one-off items with no particular organizational theme, that you can't necessarily pile in one big misc. box of their own? Those were the bane of my existence and some of them are STILL sitting in little boxes and containers from our last move. Tips For Making Moving More Organized and Less Painful |

Cool! I'd never heard of Spoonflower before. How awesome is that? A bit pricey for everyday use, but definitely some cool possibilities for occasional around the house projects and stuff. The scarf itself looks fantastic too - I love the colors, and the idea of taking newspaper clips from the day her mom was born, rather than anything directly related to her mom, is so clever. I've recently discovered the joys of making extra shelves inside of cabinets, and utilizing inside-the-door space. I had no idea there were so many weird contraptions and stuff that do that. How Can I Maximize Counter Space in My Small Kitchen?Product & Shopping Questions |

My husband and I have completely different tastes. He tends to like everything plain, white, and unadorned, while I'm a bit more of a baroque "PUT DAMASK AND SCROLLWORK ON EVERYTHING" person. Luckily, I don't mind toning it down a bit, and he doesn't care too much about what the house looks like, so we're usually able to either compromise or relinquish any points of contention. I don't really have an opinion on the paintings (sorry!), but I kinda love that ceiling light fixture... anyone know where it's from? Paint By Number Artwork in the Nursery |

I really like the world map one. However, having removed all the wallpaper from my childhood bedroom three times (well, I barely helped the first time, but it was ALL me the third time) and then replaced it twice (finally, the third time, I painted), then having a nightmare of a time trying to remove the improperly-applied wallpaper in my in-laws' kitchen, I don't know if I have the endurance for dealing with wallpaper ever again, no matter how nice it looks. I also have the collapsible funnel that Foodlovah ues, and it is AWESOME, because normal funnels are so awkward to cram into a drawer and I end up breaking half of them as a result. I found mine for a little cheaper than Amazon's price here (www.organizeit.com/progressive-collapsible-funnel-mini.asp). It might end up being closer cost with shipping factored in, I guess, but since I shop in person at their Michigan store, that is soooo not a problem for me. :D 5 Collapsible, Foldable, and Space-Saving Tools for Small Kitchens |

I like the first one, Salt Water Cure. I don't know that I'd do water-themed art in the bathroom myself, but if I were going to, it'd probably be #1 that went up on my wall! Water Prints for the Bathroom |

We just bought our first home last year, and our kitchen is still recovering. We went from having small apartment kitchens, or kitchens at our parents' homes (where, you know, embarrassingly, our parents would clean up a lot of messes neither of us knew we were leaving until we were on our own), to our own kitchen that nobody but us was going to tidy up or clean. Lame. But since we're not trust fund babies or executives, we're not planning on springing for maid service any time soon. Tips for Keeping a Clutter-Free Kitchen |

We have a really high ceiling in our master bedroom too and have been having the same thoughts on maybe putting some color on it, so even though I don't have any fantastic ideas (I did see a room with huge ceilings painted entirely deep dark purple-black, ceiling included, with really dramatic jewel-toned curtains and high windows pouring light in, and it looked utterly sexy but was definitely not the look for our room), I'll definitely be lurking around to maybe borrow some of the suggestions posted here too!
