Just fyi...if you do bring a "granny cart" to the grocery store, most large grocery store baskets can handle holding your cart, upside down (wheels up) in between the push handle bar and the small child basket. Makes shopping super easy! Unrelated, but you can also ball your winter coat up inside the small child's basket in a grocery cart and use the sleeve to nestle a cup of coffee. Keeps it warm and it shouldn't topple over as you shop. I have this all down to a science :) Easy Does It: Folding Shopping Carts |

So that I could keep my medicines separate from my kids medicines/bandaids/ointments, etc, I bought one of those organizers from bed bath beyond that looks like 2 shoe boxes on top of each other (they are drawers that pull out). A drawer for me, a drawer for them. That way, I don't have to leaf through our meds when I am in a rush to find kiddie tylenol or thermometers. For the baby's rectal thermometer, I also took a sharpie and wrote "rectal" on the outside JUST IN CASE it ever ends up in our medicine drawer! Also, my four year old is always wanting to pick through our bandaids to find THE PERFECT ONE with a certain "disney character" of the day on it. So that he could see the design, I pre-unwrapped all of our kiddie bandaids (except the backing, of course!), and put them in a 1/2 gallon ziplock bag. Two years ago, we bought a twin bed for our son from www.maxtrixkids.com. They have MANY retailers in NYC if you want to see how the system works. We now have a 19 month old and a 5 year old, and will be purchasing an additional twin to bunk on top of it. Plus, they have cute "play tents" that you can place over the bottom bed, and if you need, you can put a trundle under the bottom bunk bed as well (which we will be doing until our almost 2 year old is bigger). Hope this helps...is basically 3 beds in one! Beds are super adorable and come in different finishes. Planning Ahead: Converting Twin Beds to Bunks |

No offense OP, but dont "skirt the sink," unless you are elderly. I would also not do a clear plastic shower curtain...I advise hiding that baby blue tile! Sorry OP. I would check and see how the mirror is hung, if possible, hang another that is larger and more detailed. CB2 has some great shower curtains that are artistic and minimal (some). You can also put a cool shelf (either hanging or on top of tank) above toilet and maybe get some cool bathroom organizers that match to go on it. Maybe just get a rug that covers the whole floor (either patterned shower curtain or patterned rug, not both), may look better than a bathroom rug. Good luck :) How To Decorate Unique Retro Bathroom?
