going to mother-in-laws house yawn... but coming back in time to paint the master bedroom and hopefully start on our son's room and get everything done!

perfect time for this post just decided to paint one bedroom in our wall a dark almost black looking navy blue, I wasn't so sure but so far i'm loving it and hubby is too. I was scared at first to go with a dark color but i agree that sometimes dark colors make a bedroom feel cozier and gives it a little drama.

We too bought a house in Nashville a few years ago it's half brick half light yellow siding i hated the yellow siding with the brick don't think its goes well together i asked my hubby to paint the brick white to at least match the siding but he said it was a no no, and changing out the siding is to expensive and not worth the investment for us since we plan to move out of Davidson county. I personally like how well yours looks, at least your colors coordinate.

Have yall looked in German Town they have really nice colorful cute houses there although the prices there are really high for less square footage.

I'm painting my finished basement in the same blue gray color i agree it is very soothing and it looks great in your room! especially love it in your kitchen.

We decided to adopt a pet when our son was 3 since he loved my mother-in-law's little dog "Cowboy Cody". We rescued a Jack Russell named Jack who ended up biting my son in the face pretty badly and leaving him with a huge scar. We returned the dog not giving up hope that we could find our son a nice dog and not wanting him to grow up in fear of dogs we rescued a miniature pincher mix female. She is perfect for him they adore each other, play together and get in trouble together as well! I think if your child is younger there should always be supervision regardless of how good the dog is, we love our dog but never let our guard down. At the age of 3 he was already helping by doing stuff like filling her food bowl and opening the door for her to let her out (back fenced in yard) teaching him responsibility.

Your right about how conservative the town is, and everyone's home looks straight out of Ethan Allen's my father in law lives there as well and what do you think his house looks like it was decorated straight out of Ethan Allen’s! Nice to see something different cute house! If yall buy used don't forget Watertown's mile long yard sale coming up I found a few vintage pieces there last year great little town!

no lights on, then again we have a car garage we pull into that gives us enough time to get our keys out open door and turn on light switch beside door before garage light goes out.

When my son was born I bought him a very soft amy coe blanket (he calls baba) that he soon grew very attached too. I should have bought more than one, his blanket started falling apart after 2 years and my husband and i were expecting the worse when "baba" would no longer be around. While on a trip to texas I happend to get very lucky and found another blanket just like the discontinued amy coe blanket at a Ross. I've learned to always buy 2!!!

Hi we are also looking into buying our son a toddler sofa as well we want something with clean simple lines but everything out there is outrages! I came across a few cute sofas at Toys R Us that aren't too bad when it comes to price hope this helps!
