Thank you everyone for your wonderful and encouraging comments! I did want to express that we didn't mean to sound "snobby" or lessen the appreciation of our first home by calling it a "starter" home. I agree with what one commenter said, we simply were just expressing that this was our FIRST home and I had no idea that the term "starter" would be so offensive. This is absolutely the perfect house for us and we are so grateful for it!
