while i am all for making one's cubicle more personal & comfortable and colorful (i hate beige) this print is really bad for the eyes. when you are staring at a screen for a number of hours your eyes need to be able to look somewhere sane to rest; this crazy print is the worst thing for them and guarantees more eye strain. it would have been better (and yes, more professional) to keep the walls monochromatic, but use another color, maybe a soft one like sage or even a dark one like navy

Um actually i think there was a lot of character in the original home. i find the new one boring, yet another modern building that looks too much like so many others...

I dont' need to buy these -- i have too many real ones...

i love the dragon lamp. the cookie jar i can do without

one question -- do the CATS like the makeover?

i actually like the current fixture -- it seems to be in keeping with the style of the house. it has a retro-flavor to it which is in keeping with the traditional elements, yet is very clean-lined which is modern. i don't think that a chandelier would work. too frilly. i do think that those black chairs completely overwhelm that lovely table though. maybe paint them a lighter color? and i agree that a rug is very needed.

this brings back memories of when i was a wee tot and our cat George, all on his own, brought down our 9ft tall & completely decorated tree. he calmly walked out of the room while my parents went bonkers. cats rule.
