I can't say I've ever lived in a small home, but when it comes to paper product like TP, and paper towels... it's hard to not stock up when the extreme sales come up. Even in a home with ample space I feel like I'm hoarding sometimes. A family of 4, with frequent guests TP is a never ending need. I simply accept that it is a priority to have a place to store it. As for paper towels... best solution to that is to replace with reusable options! A perk of the family of 4 is plenty of mismatched or hole-y socks and worn undies: A never ending supply of rags! I'm a paramedic, and I dread the question "what do you do?" more than all others. Inevitably as soon as someone finds out what I do... they think I AM the entertainment for the evening, when in reality the last thing I want to do is talk about my job to people I've just met and statistically have no concept of the true activities of my job. I too wondered about warming the concentrate, but not for the same reason as babygrace. I'm all about keeping as little in the fridge and freezer as possible to eliminate as much need as I can for such energy sucking appliances. If I were to make a concentrate, is it possible to can it so it can sit safely on my shelves in cold storage? In theory this is an obvious choice, however for those that live with lethal allergies, it is never an option because stores don't do anything to prevent cross contamination. Pretty pathetic if you ask me. Good Reminder: Buy Spices from Bulk Bins |

I bought it a DC25 Absolute which includes a bunch of tools (3 yrs ago), on a great sale even, when my previous Panasonic upright was still working great (still is today after 12 yrs). The Dyson has never proved to me why it's 3 times the price... It has never out-performed my Panasonic. And what little convenience may be had from the ball is done by sacrificing many other little conveniences. The suction is satisfactory but no better than my Panasonic. The carpet roller doesn't do edges any better nor does the carpet brush pick up any better. Beltless is nice, but not worth the extra money. The canister is no different than any other bagless vacuum out there now. The power cord is shorter.. OR you can pay even more for a longer one. The hose is shorter unless you pay even more. The attachments I have included in my Panasonic are extra with Dyson. The hose design (storage) is flawed. The motor is louder. The vacuum is heavier. My Panasonic in it's commercial form new today (more durable than the residential one I have) is half what my Dyson is today. Dyson is to vacuums... as apple is to Satan err I mean computers: it's all advertising and flash designed for the impressionable sheep. I keep a running list as I think of items, I have 'standard lists' which I've established over the years and keep on old school paper in my suitcases (which all nest within eachother). I have a special list for toiletries and pharmaceuticals which I also keep on my blackberry in a note for those last minute overnight type trips. And I've just purchased the new Samsung Tab 2 7.0 so as per the recommendations here I've downloaded the list app and we'll see how that goes. I also have all my travel type items IN my suitcases. That includes the u-shape pillows, a prepacked toiletry travel bag ready to go, random items like power adapters, security door stops, travel laundry soap for sink washing etc. The only thing not kept there is passports which I keep in a safe elsewhere. Just discovered this site three days ago and I've spent most of my time browsing. Love it! Regarding Ladybugs... I live in an apartment, without a balcony. And primarily in my bathroom which has a screened window (often open for the breeze) I have had endless ladybugs. No obvious gaps/holes to repair being the cause. They seem to generally stay in there. No vegetation for them in there. And they survived somewhere, somehow for two winters now. We had an exceptionally bad year for aphids in my city last year. But... I'm trying to figure out about these ladies... I appreciate nature and all but it's a little much indoors like this!
