it is not a good idea to combine so much in a master bedroom. Bad fung shui, really. If the room is large enough then divide and conquer. I do like the idea of a headboard as a divider with the work/excerise in one concealed area, then the bed/sleeping area in the other. Master Bedroom with a Desk? Good Questions |

I agree with amisdottir, use swing doors and incorporate shoe/boot storage. Your front entrace should be welcoming and not cluttered. I would also look around for a unique, large sofa table to catch all. Shoe Storage/Counter Combo for Entryway? Good Questions |

first things first...Myself? I have always disliked intensely exposed pipes in this application. I'd use fabric (textured, washable, light coloured - perhaps the lightest blue in the bath?) to skirt the sink. Adhere with velcro, and wash as needed.
