healthyhome how do you know how small the space is? you can't see the rest of the room!

Its a SHELTER not someone's house. The shelter I volunteer at cleans EVERYDAY and they don't accept animals they don't have room for because its NOT humane.

And spaying your pets is a good idea. If you are taking care of feral animals you should talk to you local shelter about having them neutered too. Some shelters offer discounts or even free services as well as programs for TNR, trap, neuter, release.

I use baking soda and vinegar to clean everything and tea tree oil for my wood floors. i have com to the conclusion that you don't ever need to buy any kind of cleaner, ever.

You can make shampoo out of baking soda.

I kinda feel that if you try to do they right thing all of the time you will wind up doing it most of the time which is more than you can say for most people. There are also times when what you really feel is right and what you would really like to do are just out of your reach-or price range or other resource range- and you have to do what you can realistically do. If that falls out of you normal mode of promoting good and shunning evil then that's ok because you still do more than most.

AT rocks and EVERYONE does things that may be considered hypocritical at some point in their lives.

did I mention AT rocks?

the convertible compact desk packs the most bang in the smallest space though aesthetically, compared with the other 2, it looks a little block-like. I absolutely love the idea for a home office.

all i can think of is our crappy transportation, which IS being upgraded because of the Olympic bid, and ALL those people. Where would you park? It would be a nightmare. I also don't really think that most of the money made off of it would go back into the city to improve it for residents.

My dad always told me this: when you rent long term, all you have at the end is a pile of rent receipts. When you own, you have made an investment.

I am still young and by no means am able to buy anything but my feelings are when you own you can do anything with it, why spend money to remodel something that you won't reap the benefit of? You have the opportunity to make something into exactly what you want and not have to rely on some management company or live with it with no hope of improvement-like my stupidly planned kitchen.

Granted everyone's situation is different and I think that you should do a lot of research before you buy anything "investment" worthy.

wow! I missed an afternoon and so many good ideas. I am not too keen on painting a. because kitchen's are a bitch to paint and then have to re-paint.

I am in love with Ikea but not having a car makes getting to one or getting home kinda difficult.

I have a magnetic knife rack that I am going to install behind the sink which will break up some of the white and clear some of the clutter on the counter.

I like the calendar art idea and the dowel-knob idea. i just have to do some hunting at home depot.

I know people who have mezuzot in their home and aren't Jewish and don't even really know what it means.

It brings something to someone's life that if you are too busy being offended you will never understand.
