I saw on Pinterest a great idea for using cling wrap to line your shelves.. it sticks pretty well and is easy to remove when it gets grimy.

We pay for it, but our service provider is private so I still don't get access to this. (Same for HBO Go.. I pay, but can't get it.. sucks so bad)

If you don't want to touch worms or other crawlers, try different types of bait like hot dogs, corn or marshmallows. Sometimes these work better anyway. Haha.

There are several, inexpensive 'spare battery' devices that will take AA batteries (think re-chargable). I think we got ours at an electronics store for about $15. It's a life-saver on camping trips.

My 'ex' was extremely function over form.. So much so that he would often, in my opinion, ruin things for no reason. He would just rip out things he thought only served aesthetic purposes... It would drive me crazy. I got tired of riding in his car without a dashboard.. finally called it quits. I just can't be with someone who doesn't appreciate aesthetics to that level. Different styles can come to compromises, but when someone detests style all-together.. I can't do that.

A friend of ours has one of these and I am so jealous when we go camping. He claims it's incredibly comfortable and being a hammock fan anyway, I'm sure he's right.

As for "find 3 large and properly grown trees all in proper placements, someone wants to climb all 3 trees before being able to rest" .. well, it's not that hard actually. The ropes are very adjustable so pretty much ANY trees will work. Also, our friend doesn't put his up very high. I've never even seen a ladder for it. He just puts it high enough to get inside easily. I'd assume (unless there are bears or other reasons to be highly elevated) you can put them at whatever height you'd like.

The brown is likely because it has outgrown itself and those areas cannot get the proper lighting they need. Juniper is more like a cedar tree than a bush and will grow thick and woody. To tame the beast, simply cut it back. It's been there long enough, no matter how far you cut back it's going to return. These evergreens tend to grow outward versus upward. With a little TLC this beast can be kept looking nice.

Wow wow, so much hate. Having been given and old junker that was destined for destruction, I don't see why it would be such a big deal. Mine was missing knobs, the music stand and had a mis-matched bench to it. Still plays, but giving it a coat of paint to make it better suited for my living room might make it even more dear to me; make me want to play it.. who knows!? Would be completely different if it were a handmade, precious antique, but it's not. This is really inspiring.

Just a small suggestion: I used to use a stump like that on my porch but after a while we started noticing termites inside. Our whole house is brick, the porch floor is brick (I live in a foursquare very similar to yours), no wood anywhere, but we had termites! I would recommend sealing up your stump if you haven't already. :) Gorgeous porch!

Being from Arkansas, we are known for our red soil. I've never really thought of it as a problem because it seems 'natural' to me? (Our driveway is super orange http://is.gd/XwvQk4 ) Maybe it's intimating this type of soil? I have no idea.

I do think the orange looks good with deep greens, like around bushes.. but I use my own composting as mulch, which is usually black.
