There are some really cool images on Kelly Wearsteler's (sorry for poor spelling) site, that show coral mixed with a lot of heavier browns and a dark maroon. I think that would be great, especially with some brassy details from a vintage store. Splashes of turquoise could look nice, but not much, otherwise it will start looking like 1985 Santa Fe, or like the Golden Girls just moved out. :)

So, number 7 is a Chinese knock-off of an Italian design from B&B. I think that promoting a knock-off of a well-made piece is a bit disheartening for a reputable design blog. It is OK to choose an inexpensive version to reference, but a feature for chair designs should reference the original, no?

This looks very much like my bathroom. Definitely live in it for awhile. Our tiles are in great condition so it was hard to decide what to do with them (we also have the pull up bars in the same places).

We plan on only doing a couple things in our bathroom. We hope to re-glaze our pink sink and tub white in the future, and replace the toilet with an efficient white one. Don't change the floor unless it doesn't work. It adds character to your bathroom that you will not easily be able to replace. We love our floor now and it looks very modern now that we painted the walls a cool light gray and added some great West Elm White Sconces and added a set of dark gray towels.

Maybe one day paint the wall tiles white or grey, we are still toying with that idea. Good luck with your decision.
