@JessicaLauren and RPK123--I had the same issue with paint chipping, but I thought it was cause I didn't get everything off in the tight spots. I used a fine grit sandpaper to attack the finish though... maybe a thicker grit would work better... and the can of computer duster like RPK recommended.
