Love my tripp trapp, but i think the new hang sitt (booster/highchair to go) would be great for apartment and small house dwellers

This room is adorable! For that age i can suggest you drop the crib down, your little one will be able to climb.

our new home has window units. it is nice to not feel bad to switch them on and off as opposed to the central air of our old home. i can cool the downstairs down for an hour or so and feel fine the rest of the day.

at night our row home though get's very sweltering upstairs so we sleep with a unit on.

Are you in a small space? I highly recommend the civia halsted, www.civiacycles.con we have ours outfitted with a yepp mini. It isn't a big bike but holds a ton. I use ours daily.

cute! love the color combo.

i do wish the bookshelves were on kid level. once the little guy wants to play with them himself it will be so impractical.

we bought a home with a 1951 stove. it isn't practical if you bake big meals in the oven. like the thought of cooking cupcakes for my son's first seemed overwhelming. we love it though she really is a true gem to our kitchen.

if we do every replace her it is going to mean we have to replace all the cabinets too as she is so much larger then modern appliances.

I am a little concerned so many people are recommending infant loungers/bouncers, if this person is looking at jumperoos their child is way best the age of the bjorn bouncer. fwiw we bought the fisher price bounce and spin froggy. it was the smallest food print, it bounced play music (we never installed batteries) and it was gender neutral.

Like someone above mentioned they are used for such a short amount of time once a baby can crawl and move they don't want to be in them anymore!

I live in the whissahickon section right near a collection of homes like this in roxbourgh. And assuming the owners aboves as well. Although this is part of the city it is right next to fairmount park and gives you the hint of big city and forest living. Its a interesting caveat to city living.

We boil water in a tea kettle turn on the forman and pour the water over it and let it flow directly into the sink. Then we use paper towels to pick up the excess. It isn't perfect.

Love that the space actually looks used. There is an actual coffee pot etc. I am tired of the overly staged look.
