@GreenwoodGal. Thanks for your concern that my son will be teased or made fun of because of his bed. It may not be clear in the post, but as Breezslp has pointed out, when the crib is converted to a junior bed the high sides are removed and it is like any other kids' bed. My son absolutely adores the bed and is very proud of his big boy's bed.

A bed that lasts for the first 4 years of a child's life in my opinion has longevity. Many of my friends' kids have gone from a Moses Basket, to a crib and junior bed (i.e. 3 pieces of furniture) in the same time that we have had just one piece that changes with the child's needs. This is good design.

On the point of him being teased for his bed (which he won't as the bed looks like a big boy's bed), but a child that did would not welcome in our home.
