I don't think the list is that bad, depends on the space though. The mint, along with other herbs and grasses are fun in window sills and easily maintained. Trial and error is usually the best to see what works for you. Everyone's conditions are different so the best solution is to research each plant before digging in(pun intended). A water installation would be really cool, but then I'm not sure where you would move the television to. Floating shelves would be another less labor intensive option. Ideas for Giant Wall in New Loft? Good Questions |

I would do a "faux" built-in around the a/c unit with a hinged top to access the controls. This could double as a place for setting plants or anything. Then I would suggest drapes in the living room area to let in the natural light. As for the bedroom I would recommend if the roman shade, but make sure you go with a flat loop and a room darkening material. Unless of course you are up before the sun is every day. Speaking of stickers, need to remove a sticker easily from new dishes or anything? Use a blow dryer, reheat the adhesive and watch it just peel away. Works much better than getting wet and scrubbing for 20 minutes in the sink. What is Your Quirkiest Cleaning Tip? Real Simple |
