Wow. This is a beautiful house. I love the matryoshka doll collection. The house was part lake house, part beach house, part jamaican plantation house. I just love it. Seems a bit unfinished, but since I like having lots of artwork and knick knacks in my own home, I'm sure minimalist style is not really for me. I like the flag on the wall and LOVE LOVE the light bulb/track lighting fixture in the living room. Sean & Sara's Minimal Americana House Tour |

I think recessed lighting is a great thing to have in a home...especially in a small place where there isn't much room to put numerous lamps, or (in our case) the ceilings are just too low to have light fixtures or chandeliers.
