I am a teacher. You have to be careful about home goods. If you do not know your teacher well, then you are essentially a stranger. So, would you eat cookies from a stranger. Also presentation matters, of the cookies, yourself and child for the past year. Its nothing to be mean, but would you eat sloppy cookies from sloppy people you do not know? Bottom line, we need to put a stop to these flippers. The houses are not being built for no one in particular, so the contractors do a bad job. Modern construction is horrible when compared to older. Besides adding them to stuff for texture, you might be able to put them in the food processor, grind them back to masa. Alton Brown did something similar, but with corn tortillas, on Good Eats. I am a 27 year old gen y'er. I have a garden. Two in fact. A small one at my house, and one on my grandmother land. I have set out 59 tomato plants this year, amongst jalepenos, bell peppers, cucumbers, turnips, squash, and okra. If it will ever rain ill plant an acre of watermelon.
