Someone lives here, it shows, and that's a good thing.

Hella cute in a strangely familiar way. As others have said, made me miss my grandma.

I love this place in general; it's colorful, comfortable and full of antique touches that aren't the predictable midcentury modern. Good job!

That metal bed! I want it. Where's it from, what's its name?

I painted (white) the damaged-beyond-repair wood floors in my rental a few years ago and love, love, love them. They really brightened up my dark little bedroom that gets no direct sun, and give the whole place an airy feel. A new coat every year is a good idea.

That attic is amazing, reminds me of an attic in SF that I used to visit in the early 80's. And I love all your old photos and artifacts, such a nice change from ubermodern sterility.

for an apartment like this in Pacific Heights, $6550 is not surprising.

I think this is terrific and so much more interesting than all that cookie-cutter midcentury business. I covet that headboard...wonder how I can make my own??

i turned my ironing board cupboard into a spice rack, and when we removed the ironing board there were newspapers from 1928 and 1945. love those old architectural touches.
