I own one of Boontje's lights and one thing it has (and this version lacks) is a shorter layer of what I think is called "styrene" that goes between the bulb and the paper shade. I don't believe it's fire proof but it is translucent and will add some stiffness to the shade, as well as create a white background for the paper cutout and soften the glow of the bulb. Otherwise, this re-imagined version is beautiful, with a great architectural feel. Thank you for the tutorial!

Although a lesser-known commission, the Meyer May House in Grand Rapids, MI is another great example of Wright's style of architecture. Owned and restored by Steelcase, the house is open to the public and staffed by a group of knowledgeable docents. The house's website, http://meyermayhouse.steelcase.com, includes a nice section on Wright's principles of architecture.

Touching. Reminds me of a great John Leguizamo quote: "With children, the days are long but the years are short"...
