Getting rid of all my "gladware" and fake tupperware. Too many mismatched lids/etc.
Now, I use existing items I have (Casserole dish with foil over top, dinner plates with plastic over top, a glass measuring cup for dressing/sauces, etc). If you take stuff to work, that can be a challenge, though. :)

I had my leather faux Eames chair redone in black buttery leather by an airplane upholsterer and the leather (a leftover from a private jet he did)... You may want to go off beaten path (Car/RV upholsterer!) - call a vintage car place and get some leads. They're experts with leather, piping, etc. Ottomon and chair were $400. OH YEAH.
Also, go out of the urban or suburban ares - we visited my parents in their tiny town and found this guy.

we have the same room! We have a chesterfield sofa facing 1 large chair and small end table with a coffee table in between it all. So, the TV (YES, ours is enshrined above the fireplace) is on the left if you were sitting on the couch. I got a jute rug to anchor the whole thing and I like it!

For the wall on the "right" (opposite fireplace) its SUPER long, and I have yet to figure out how to arrange pics!

Also - I painted the TV /fireplace wall a dark brown which 1. helped the white fireplace pop and 2. blend the tv into the wall better.

I have not done this, but I'm going to pre-make cold breakfast sandwiches:
English Muffin + 1 TB cream cheese + salmon ( 1 oz). Wrap it up. Take it "to -go."

Cottage cheese (add seeds or fruit)

Also - hard boiled egg (portable), waffle with peanut butter to go, and "homemade" breakfast pocket pies. Puff pastry plus whatever you want inside (egg, meat) foild, bake 6 for the week. You're all set!

Etsy is a great place for gifts! That being said, PLAN IN ADVANCE. Like, more than a month or two away from the gift giving.
That is my main complaint is slow service and no responses to emails/follow ups. But, I love it!

Nice list! If you want to save some money and you're up for digging try out Cargo Largo in Independence, MO. We have saved lots of money on spray paint, random tools, garden items, and they even have scrapbooking stuff/paints/markers, etc. It's all salvage or surplus, so you can't be too picky ...

Congrats! Definite reason to eliminate clutter from the bathroom is to have it white and less spaces for things to gather (like a big sink!).
Looking forward to seeing more posts.
We paid for renovation to our tiny bath - $5k- (1 bathroom in house) - while we were away on vacation. I could not believe how long it took even for the pro's - bathrooms are full of surprises.!

This is in the oven right now! Some modifications I made based on what was in my fridge! (rainy day cooking..)

-added 1 "glug" of Apple Cider to the cabbage for sweetness
-used LOTS of pepper and a dash of nutmeg
-Added horseradish to the sour cream (was also low on sour cream, so blended some cottage cheese in)

Looking forward to enjoying - hope it's great. If it's watery, I have some rye bread ready to soak it up!

hmmm...
Option 1: de-puff the arms - those are the most offensive in the design - your bottom cushions are fine, the back ones - can they be un "tacked" - get rid of the dividing seam? If so, do that and redistribute the puff

Option 2: Because you're resisting the ugly color, you have no other ugly green in the space to off set it's boldness. Get something in that room with the same color - something you like, preferably (big vase, DIY art project, etc)

Option 3: I agree - with some above - it's out of SCALE and just floating alone. Ground it with a big ole rug, flank with lamps, two of those good bolster pillows, and you're on your way.

The sandwich sushi is adorable. I love radishes and butter (I know!). Which can be kept at room temp more than cream cheese.

stuff tuna salad in a tomato, top with swiss, run under broiler for a lower carb alternative...
Tuna as empanada filling..mix tuna, white beans, olives, until really well mixed (smash beans if neccessary)...and stuff into shell.. bake, yum.
