Wish I could be more helpful with the table, but it is a Housing Works find. It was made in the 60's by a now out of business Vermont-based furniture company. But I think it's a pretty standard midcentury design, so check your local flea market! Good luck!

Oh! And KELINKA: I love the idea of other colors with this color scheme. We have a lot of reds and pinks in our rug and I really like it against the grey and white. LISANHAM: I think its more about the saturation and darkness of this particular grey (and many that are popular right now) that closes it in. I don't think a light grey would have the same effect.

Hi LADYLARA19, No, we didn't. We were just extra careful and since there ia a small gap there it was easy. Our door is original to the building and quite old and so the edges we're already a little rough, so we didn't have to be that precise.
