I tried everything under the sun to get my white grout clean and the only thing that worked was Magic Erasers and Grout Cleaner. Not the most green option but it worked. Note: I did have to use several because they do have a tendency to shred when you use them on grout. 4 Cleaners, 1 Success Story: Getting Tile Grout Clean | Apartment Therapy Los Angeles |

Dr. Bronners soap to brush your teeth? Really??? (shudder) I'm sorry I just can't do it (that goes for baking soda too, it makes me gag). Give me a tube of Toms of Maine any-day. Eight Products You Think You Need—But Don't GOOD | Apartment Therapy Re-Nest |

I would love to put in a a urinal if we had space in our bathroom! While my husband never leaves the seat up, he is 6'5" and it would be a lot easier for him to use than the toilet (cleaner too). They also save a ton of water. I would rather clean a urinal than deal with the issues of pee and tall men. I am not sure why people think it is so gross. I loved it! I made this last night with a few substitutions (fresh oregano and asiago cheese) and an egg on top. It was simple and fabulous! Melinda's Spaghetti Squash With Avocado and Parmesan Quick Weeknight Meals Recipe Contest 2009 | Apartment Therapy The Kitchn |

I second the magic eraser suggestion for grout! It was the only thing that got my formerly white grout in my kitchen even somewhat clean (seriously who puts white grout in a kitchen with a back door!). I went through about three of them, but the results were pretty good. Special Uses for Bar Keeper's Friend | Apartment Therapy New York |

Our dryer is located in our kitchen and in the past we have vented it back into the house (with a filter of course). It makes the house smell nice, heats the house, and replaces some of the moisture loss from the central heat. Apartment Therapy Re-Nest | 14 Ways To Keep Warm Without Turning the Heat On or Up |

As someone with foot issues, I do sometimes prefer to wear shoes inside. I would never require my guests to remove their shoes unless they felt comfortable doing so. While it does mean that I have to wash the floors more often, I would hate to make my guests feel uncomfortable. Apartment Therapy Re-Nest | 37 Reasons to Take Your Shoes Off Most Popular Posts |

I take offense at the Middle America comment. Just because someone chooses not to live on a coast doesn't make us less interested in design or unimaginative. Horrible design is certainly not limited to one portion of the country. I would agree that most staging is pretty horrible and the examples shown are no exception. When done well, it can be very effective, however, most of the time it isn't... Apartment Therapy San Francisco | Before & Make-Believe After: Virtual Staging |

I can't speak to the quality of that particular brand however, I have had some experience with Rubins (in Madison). As someone who worked in the industry I heard horror stories about their customer service and their business practices. In general the old saying "you get what you pay for" is true, so if the price seems to be too good to be true there is probably a reason. I hope that this helps!
