Delightful bungalow! Really enjoyed the small and whimsical quotes of forties style- the tiny bird salt&peppers, bird-motif pillows & bath mat. Just enough for a loving wink, not a heavy historical hand. Charmingly appropriate bathroom wallpaper and marble work!

gee this shows a depressing lack of understanding the potential power of art. Keep in mind that ideas that we find mildly entertaining and decorative were initially critiquing and analyzing the culture that the artists were immersed in.

Jamina1- Think of it more like cornmeal mush! But savory, not with syrup on top! yummmmy! Sometimes I cheat and get the tube shaped package. Pre-cooked, all it needs is slicing and heating.

In this case, go ahead and sell it. Even with a dark paint/stain and new hardware, the base will never have the same sense of lightness and off-the-floor energy as your longed-for example

Bob's Red Mill, mentioned above, makes several different hot cereal mixes with oats: 7 grain, 8 grain, 10 grain, etc.
A bit off topic, but I also really like to add a serving of powdered soy-based protein supplement when the cereal is almost done. "Aria" from Trader Joe's really helps the cereal stick to one's ribs.

For more protein, you might like to add a powdered supplement to the blender batch. Most grocery stores have them, my fave is "Aria" at Trader Joe's. Ooops- the label says for women, but can't imagine anything untoward happening-!

Very beautiful! Love how the iron is bent like a Thonet bentwood chair- any idea if it was made around the same time- 1890's or-? Great example of form following function!
