Five of the Funniest Amazon Product Reviews

Coolest thing ever. Had one. Would neve have one again. Not efficient, and all the bits in the door broke/cracked really easily (never happened with any other fridge); too big outside for the actual space you get inside. Also had 2 Dysons (upright and pull along) - sold both. Upright had incredible suction but was so heavy it was a pain to use (and I'm fairly strong). Roberts radio on the other hand is a thing of beauty with great sound quality.

Deep grey walls - (I can't quite see it clearly - but I'm thinking as deep as the grout colour, something like Designers Guild DOVE), white cabinets and deep blue door knobs to match the tiles. Super modern. Keep the tiles - they really do look in great condition and add far more character than a cheap replacement. And I'm sure you were going to get round to the light - but if funds are super limited you could use heat proof/appropriate blue glass paint ... but if you can stretch to it, yep a more modern (and a flatter fitting will open up the space loads too). Good bones to work with. Good luck.

Updates for Country Kitchen on a Limited Budget? Good Questions

A tiny hallway with larger scale (prob only 7mm wide) CORD carpet. In dark blue. Not only did it show all dirt and fluff - it was incredibly difficult to vacuum.

Originally bought as I thought it wouldn't show dirt and would be hardwearing as it was in the entrance and all the rooms in the tiny flat came off it so it was a hugely high traffic area.

Never buy anything dark blue for the floor.
(Hmmm, now have a black floor in my kitchen and bathroom - love it, but am resigned to sweeping regularly.)

Simple, stunning & you could even make a chandelier from mini versions a bit like the glass one in Three Colours: Blue - my most coveted household object ever!

Ahh - delighted that al those who comment are sharing the same peeves.

1. Any pillows/cushions that don't add to your comfort. Decorative pillows/cushions are so pointless and weird. Esp if you have to MOVE THEM to get comfy.
2. Words on things - even 'tea' or 'coffee' on a jar. But worst is 'fork' and 'knife' on the cutlery handles.
3. If someone described their 'space' as 'curated'...

What's Your Design Pet Peeve?

Indeed!
We gather a variety of items throughout our lives - and we live with them. Even if we collect we rarely 'curate' within a domestic setting.
We live in houses/apartments - we visit museums.
