I'm going to jump in with a similar question (given we're talking coffee tables!). I've found lots of glass & steel (my preferred style) coffee tables that I like, but they all seem to be 48" long. My space really can't manage that but I'm having trouble finding anything closer to 36". Sources for Square, Modern Wood & Steel Coffee Table? Good Questions |

I think this is a great idea. My one bedroom had two small built-ins side by side with old bi-fold doors. I ripped them out (including the door frames and separating wall) to make my room 2 feet deeper, then pushed side by side Ikea Pax into the space - voila - built in closets with sliding doors and MUCH nicer interiors! I then placed a 5x5 Expedit on top of a 1x5 Expedit facing the closet and wall papered the back. Instant feature wall and tonnes of storage space! How To Create a Walkthrough Closet in the Bedroom? To the people who say "it looks like a tire" - seriously, you could say that about any drum shaped object. I think its an amazing job and looks fabulous. The decision to use a spoke pattern on the top rather than the (I presume) easier spiral was excellent. Before & After: From Tired Tire To Awesome Ottoman That Was A What |

I recently renovated my kitchen and found the AJ Madison website to be extremely helpful because you can search appliances by lots of specific criteria - including width. Unfortunately, they have lots of 36" ranges and 48" ranges, but nothing in between. Have you considered using a 36" range, and installing a narrow storage space beside it? We had a 6" gap when we designed our kitchen, but its turned out to be very useful for storing cutting boards and other flat items. 40" Gas Range To Replace Old Caloric Ultramatic? Good Questions |
