The comments are so fun! I think it's going to take a LOT to wipe the smile off of my face!! First off, we do not live aboard the Retro Metro. It's simply a weekend get-a-way. We are at a private dock where there is plenty of street parking right behind our boat. This slip was such a find. We tidy up the furniture whenever we leave just in case it gets super windy -- We don't want anything to fall overboard, or worse have somebody get hurt by a flying chaise! Surprisingly enough, it does not get terribly warm downstairs in the bedroom during the summertime. Maybe one night a year you are not PERFECTLY comfortable. Other than that it's brilliant. During the winter, we use a space heater and it's lovely. The swaying is soothing and makes you feel like a baby in a bassinet! There's been lots of talk about the no #2 rule!!!! Here's the deal... We just tell everybody when they arrive... It goes something like this. If you have to poop, go to the public loo which is just a few steps away. Truthfully, it makes for fun conversation! A drunken friend once came out of the bathroom and told us she let a #2 accidentally slip out... I can assure you the room full of friend erupted in hysterical laughter!!!

Keep the questions coming and don't forget to check outcome other (less kitschy) spaces I've designed in my show I Live with My Mom on YouTube.com/spacesTV

Wowzers!!! The love we're getting is fantabulous!! Thank you for the design props! It truly means the most coming from this community. If you'd like to see more of my design work, go to YouTube.com/SpacesTV and watch my show I Live with My Mom... On it, I make over bedrooms of 20 somethings who are still living at home with Mom! Super kitschy and FUN as I rid them of Star Wars sheets and Legos in favor of duvets and art!

If you don't take that sofa home, I'm going to insist you tell us which Salvation Army this is living at. It's amazeballs and has great shape, detail, structure, fabric and tufting!
