A friend had a dollhouse replica of her house scaled down and decorated exactly like the real thing (loved this in grades 1-3) and both houses were beautiful for the early 1980's. What Impressed You About Other Homes As a Kid? |

I agree with you. Also, I store nothing in the bathroom that moisture can cling to. Every member of the family stores their towels on the back of their bedroom door instead of leaving anything wet in the bathroom. It helps. I also used 2 coats of Kilz before I painted and I used semi-gloss paint--a lot less mildew ceiling growth and streaking. Paint the ceiling a dark color.
