While reading the article, I got the same feeling of anxiety I get when I watch shows about insects. I think the writer of the article was feeling something similar. He did, after all, reference Rain Man and the unibomber (in a good way, he said, whatever that means) when describing the apartment and its creators.

I, for one, preferred the story that came after this one about the woman who gutted her condo down to the concrete and more or less left it unfinished. Now that's my kind of crazy.
