This is amazing. I wish I had that much patience. How is the glass secured down? I would think that it would slide around if it were just set on top of the Legos.

As someone with a severe allergy to cigarette smoke, I can tell you that smoke wafting into neighbors' homes can be a large problem. I once lived in an apartment next to a smoker who had zero concern for anyone around him. I spent an unhappy year there before my lease was up and I could move.

If you approach your neighbors and suggest that you all sit down to discuss the problem and possible ways to mitigate it, you're going to generate a lot of good will. I certainly would have appreciated such a gesture from my former neighbor.

A study earlier this year done by researchers at Dartmouth found that brown rice syrup can be high in arsenic. I decided to reduce my use of it. Like the poster above, I don't have many recipes that call for corn syrup, so honey or cane sugar works for me most of the time.

I agree that this airport design doesn't seem like the best option. What about the potential for sea level rise?

I'm a Gen Xer and I think my major hurdle is lack of time. Another issue is the expense. I like to go to smaller, locally owned nurseries that specialize in native plants. Those plants and the potting soil or soil amendments add up pretty quickly. In addition, I am currently a renter and I don't really like investing a lot of time and money in a place that isn't mine. I wish I could do more gardening. My grandfather was a phenomenal gardener and I have many fond memories of spending time in his garden.

I live alone and have never used the dishwasher in my current rental. I think it would take me at least a week to accumulate enough dirty dishes (and I'd probably run out of dishes before this happened). I'd rather just spend 10 minutes a day washing up by hand. Hand washing also means that I don't have to worry about whether the rather old dishwasher will actually get things clean.

I agree with Username26. I live in a region with cold winters and the amount of energy it would take to keep the water in the heater tank liquid would make my utility bills skyrocket.
