We have had a Karlstad sofa for a few years now. We bought it to replace an expensive Lazy Boy sofa that we hated! Our ikea sofa has held up much better than it's expensive predecessor. We have three small children who have put this sofa through the ringer. The covers easily come off and I have thrown them in the washer/dryer repeatedly. They always come out like new. Additionally, I was looking for a sofa with detached cushions so that they could be flipped in an attempt to help the inner stuffing wear evenly. Again, this sofa fits the bill. I highly recommend this sofas as an inexpensive option.

First, the headline is wrong. They are spelled Bjurön. Second, they are no longer available in the US.

When I was very young my family would vacation every summer in a house that had a beaded room divider. I loved it! It is one of the few things I remember about our summers there.
