No, you're not! I keep finding all these ideas that involve text. I'm trying to narrow it down. I found this flickr account that has photos of letters free for download. They are photos taken from all different places, from signs to scrabble tiles. Check it out.

This apartment is just AMAZING!! I Love the shoe!! I Love heels, but can't wear them due to foot problems so I want to get my hands on a shoe and alter it to make art. Most people think I'm a little strange, but I think it will turn out good. I just have to find the right shoe!

I am wondering where the shelves in the master bedroom came from. I live in a small apartment and they would be perfect for a corner!! I noticed they are not on the list for the master....

If anyone knows where to get a shelf system like this please email me at contactanastasia@yahoo.com

Thanks,
Stacy

I would LOOOOOVE to find a piece like this!!! I love, love, love this shape. I would add some furniture legs to lift it up a little bit more. I think a piece like this would fit into a lot of different spaces. I'm SO jealous! I would paint it black with a matte finish and a nice off center stencil in a gloss finish (also black), then I would put a mirror above it and use it as a side table with a plant on it and maybe some tall candle sticks... I think using matte and gloss in the same color would add interesting detail and really play up the shape.

Cover just a strip down the center of the cabinets by making a strip of fabric long enough to cover the front and back and a little extra for the width of the cabinet, then sew the ends together forming a sort of 'tube'. Then you can just slide it over the cabinet with the sewn seam at the back. (You will have to take off the hardware to put these on if they are made tight which would look best) Depending on the fabric you might have to sew what would be the 'sides' of the fabric panel together to make a nice edge. You could probably do this with contact paper too. Just leave the backing on and glue the ends instead of sewing.

I have the same question. I want to do this over the ugly apartment cabinets. You know the ugly pressboard covered with plastic looking stuff that looks like wood.... Has anyone tried this????
