Anna Europe, I'm sorry my home makes you feel so bad, was not my intension to make you feel upset at all. My husband and I work very hard to help others and there is no shame in that, I only hope you can understand. Please find the good and joy in the day. Thanks for your comment.

lepidoptery, Thanks for the question! It is a flip up table, so we can use the space for working, eating and entertainment! It's actually not a Tumbleweed... Christopher and myself designed it ourselves, to fit us. :)

rmbnn, Thanks! We used wool to insulate our home and it works great!! And use a small oil filled space heater for a few months in the winter. I understand what you mean about square, but it wouldn't have worked since my house sits on top of a 20' trailer frame. Which means I can take it wherever I want!

Thanks globaltastes! Christopher's mom is actually responsible for the gorgeous guilt, she is very talented! No oven... we didn't use it enough to have one in our home. We use a cooktop for all our cooking. If we really really want to use an oven, we make dinner parties with friends and family, great way to stay connected to those you love!

Hi mginwa, to help answer a few questions you might have, we have a 4.0 cu ft fridge next to the counter top, no oven ( we don't use one enough to need it in our small space) but we do have a cooktop. My husband and I both occupy the space and are loving it. We never could have imagined building our own home from our own designs, and are just amazed and very happy :) Thanks for the questions!

Thanks Bethany! If you check out different sites related to Tiny Houses you will see a ton of design ideas, my friend Brittany has one that she painted white and it looks great!

Hi Drew, just wanted to clarify about my home. It's 140 sq ft total, and 170 sq ft if you include the loft, but I found out that because you can't stand up inside the loft that it isn't considered when measuring for square footage. Hope that helps! Lots of love :) Oh yeah, the toilet is in the bathroom across from the shower :) My website has more photos, here I was limited to only 5 photos and a floor plan.

Wow, so many questions about Chris and I's home! Thought I might share a few things that aren't seen in the space. Chris and I designed and built the space ourselves, so we are really proud of the home we have created. We did a lot of downsizing and what you see is what we have. Our clothes are stored in the compartments next to the bed, up in the loft as well as the closet in the living room. Our bench also has tons of extra storage for our hobby items. We climb a ladder I made out of cedar every night to go to bed, it's very romantic! We have a composting toilet that sits against the wall in front of the shower. And yes, we live in it full time, this is our home. Thank you everyone for all your warm and cheering comments!
